Criminal Justice Support
If you or someone you know could benefit from our services, please don't hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help.
We support people towards changing their behaviour which is linked to re-offending and substance misuse. We work closely with various agencies to encourage engagement in treatment programs that are tailored to meet individual needs, helping those involved in the Criminal Justice System make meaningful changes in their lives.
How we help
We assess and support those who are involved in the Criminal Justice System who are struggling with drug and alcohol misuse. Referrals are received from different areas of the Criminal Justice System, Prisons, Court, Custody and The National Probation.
We provide support in the following areas:
In Prison
When an individual is identified as needing support with drugs or alcohol while in prison, a referral is made to our team. We assess the individual’s needs and offer ongoing support as they transition back into the community.
In Court
Legal and probation teams can refer individuals for an assessment if they require an Alcohol Treatment Requirement (ATR) or a Drug Rehabilitation Requirement (DRR).
In Custody
After an individual tests positive for drugs following an arrest, they are booked into an appointment with our team. The person is required to attend, and failure to do so will result in a breach.
During Probation
Probation Officers can refer individuals directly to our service for support, either through the Criminal Justice Team or by using our referral form.
