Co-production in Haringey

Co-production brings together people with lived experience and professionals to design, develop, and improve services collaboratively. At The Grove, this approach creates opportunities for service users to participate in creative projects, events, workshops, and community-based activities that support recovery and wellbeing.

Through participation, individuals can build confidence, strengthen social connections, develop skills, and explore new opportunities. Co-production helps create a more inclusive service while ensuring that the experiences and voices of service users help shape future support.

Co-production film in the making - The Grove

The Grove co-production has made a strong and positive start with the creation of a short awareness film titled IN YOUR HANDS.
The project’s main aim is to promote client engagement and raise harm reduction awareness through drama, alongside the collaborative process of co-producing the storyboard, script, and filming.

Co-production is committed to increasing public awareness of the ongoing risks associated with synthetic opioids and overdose. The project also highlights the importance of ensuring that everyone knows what Naloxone is, why it saves lives, and how to use it effectively in an emergency.
